Enjoy a cup of coffee with the women of Advent while discussing Bible studies from the Gather magazine. We meet at Advent at 10 am. If you haven’t subscribed to the magazine, we will have a couple of extra copies available.

RIC Denver Art Museum Trip
Learn about American Indian Art and storytelling on Sunday, Nov. 8. We will go to brunch during Adult Forum and then head to the museum around 11:30 am to see the exhibit Storytellers: The Blackfeet Nation and Charles M. Russell. Cost is $25 for adults, $22 for seniors, and free for those under 18, and free for anyone with a membership. If you do have a membership and can take someone with you, please note it on the signup sheet in the narthex.

Faith Lutheran Church is hosting a Lutheran Men in Mission BOLD Gathering for men across the Denver metro area from 8:30 to 12:30, followed by lunch, at Faith Lutheran Church Worship Center. Learn more here.

4th Annual Westminster Food Drive
Advent is collecting food for the Westminster Food Drive through Dec. 21. Canned goods, boxed goods, pet food, and supplies are needed. Please place items in the box in the Narthex.
Doors, Floors & More Flannel Project
If you have pieces of flannel sheets about 12”square, please bring them to church and put them in the box in the Narthex labeled “Flannel pieces.” We are working on a project to help raise money for the “Doors, Floors and More” campaign, and this will greatly increase the success of this project.
October Recycling Project – Plastic bread ties
The Green Team is collecting plastic bread ties in October. Please put them into the small bin on the side counter in the narthex (where sign-up sheets are located). Find our full recycling calendar here.
